The fire controller is the most important and main part of fire alarm systems. It also has the task of coordinating all components and parts of the system. In fact, this system controls the outputs by examining all inputs. The most important part of the fire extinguishing system in buildings and… are fire pump boosters. Due to the sensitivity and importance of protecting human life and property, relevant organizations and bodies have developed strict standards and rules in the production and construction of fire pump boosters and the equipment used in them. In simple terms, a fire controller is a device for reliably starting and stopping a fire pump, and also has the task of continuously monitoring conditions that can prevent the fire pump from functioning properly. The control panel operates in the same way that any motor controller works, except that it is built to stricter standards, ensuring its proper operation in critical situations.
To manually start the fire pump, you can do so via the controller display or the keys that are built into the controller door. However, in automatic mode, the control panels are set up so that the pump is turned on by a pressure drop or by a signal from a remote device, such as a flow switch or deluge valve. Also, in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, a timer is built into the controller for automatic periodic testing (self-service) and for setting the time the pump remains on after the system pressure stabilizes. Next, we will review the main Rama fire controller.
